What if time became a secondary matter – if I was flexible in terms of working time, but the result remained perfect?
Like a breakfast egg that always has the desired consistency, regardless of whether I cook it for four, seven or nine minutes – a breakfast egg with a flexible time concept, so to speak.
Unfortunately, we at Kulzer have not yet found a solution for the breakfast egg, but with our precision impression material Flexitime, this is exactly what is possible.
Flexible working time – precise results
Less time for small restorations, more time for complex restorations – and as a result less stress when taking impressions.
Flexitime's unique flexible working time combines a time window between 1:00 min. and 2:30 min. in just one product. This means that the decision to choose between a “fast setting” or a “regular setting” impression material depending on the indication is no longer necessary.
This is made possible by Flexitime's special formula, which controls the polymerisation kinetics based on oral temperature and only sets rapidly after the tray is placed in the mouth.
Furthermore, the short intraoral setting time of 2:30 min. is always the same. As a result, an impression with Flexitime takes between 3:30 min. and a maximum of 5:00 min. only from filling the tray to removing the tray from the patient's mouth.

The modern alternative to polyether
The contact angles of a water drop on Flexitime Light Flow – a measurement for hydrophilicity – are on polyether level and demonstrate Flexitime’s excellent performance in the wet sulcus. In addition, the A-silicone Flexitime offers further advantages over polyether:
